"I asked Paul for something funky and unusual to display a beautiful ceramic I had been given. It needed to be heavy and stable. Paul came up with a fabulous idea, he designed a plinth from wood from St. Bees beach (not knowing that that was where I was brought up). It was perfect, full of character and quirky. He made sure the ceramic was sunk in the plinth and then pegged it to the wall to make it safe and secure. Extra service was bringing his own vacuum to clean up after himself.
